Abstract: Stars in the scalar-tensor theories, relativistic and non-relativistic, have been widely studied in the literature; however, the formalism of conformal invariants has not yet been applied to stellar objects. In my talk, I will present a way to describe stellar structure in a frame-independent way. This will be achieved by expressing all relevant equations in terms of invariants. Such a procedure will allow us to easily compare dierent theories of gravity within one framework. Also, a non-relativistic limit of the Tolman-Oppenheimer- Volko will be presented, and the formalism will be applied to Starobinsky theory in the Palatini approach.
